NYC Street Fashion Photographer Bill Cunningham Doc Trailer

Algarrobos, oro y piedras preciosas

Camera Flash Helps Rescuers Locate Photographer

Camera helps rescuers locate photographer in Wis. - chicagotribune.com

Flash from a camera helped rescuers find an amateur photographer who had fallen into a boulder field at Devil's Lake State Park.

The 29-year-old became lost and fell about 15 feet below, the aptly named, Devil's Doorway Trail. Rescuers were able to locate him by the flashes from his camera. Mental note: always carry extra batteries for your flash when hiking!

I can't help but think the guy featured in the film 127hrs could have had a better ending to his story if he was a photographer. Too soon?
