Encyclopedia Pictura = Isaiah Saxon, Sean Hellfritsch and Daren Rabinovitch. They’re a directing team working in film, game design, art, architecture and agriculture. The trio grew up in Santa Cruz County and began collaborating on films in SF in 2003. Their unorthodox, hands-on working style often includes direct creation in all aspect of production – writing, designing, painting, sculpting, animating, photographing, directing, editing, compositing, and scoring. EP has won numerous awards for their music videos, including Video of the Year from DA&D, UK VMA, Antville, and Spin Magazine. For the last two years, EP has led an effort to build a unique hillside neighborhood in Aptos, California. They live and work there along with 15 others. They are co-founders of Trout Gulch Farm and Saxon serves on the board of Open Source Ecology. They are passionate about gardening, farming, construction, villages, social ecology, technological empowerment, adventure, and country living.
